How Can severe Blood In Stool Be Treated?

KmHi i have had clear discharge after bowel movements for a few years . Sometimes a slight discolour of blood. My hemoroids protrude out after a bowel movement . A bit uncomfortable but not painful. But now i have them and are more uncomfortable. In the past i have had routine colonoscopy every five years. During these procedures i once had the rubber bands put on and the last time they were injected with something. After the injection for a couple of months i was good but the symptoms returned.

Hello Dear. you are having hemorroids. Surgical treatment is the only best option for you. Kindly consult a surgeon.

Hemorrhoids are treated with a variety of measures including diet, over-the-counter medicine like

1. creams,
2. lotions,
3. gels,
4. pads, and
5. wipes,

and various procedures like

1. sclerotherapy,
2. rubber band ligation, and
3. surgery.

In your case since you have the problem since long time surgery is the best option.

Meanwhile you need to follow some diet. Individuals with hemorrhoids should soften their stools by increasing the fiber in their diets.

Fiber is found in numerous foods, including

1. fresh and dried fruits,
2. vegetables,
3. grains, and
4. cereals.

In general, 20 to 30 grams of fiber per day is recommended. Supplemental fiber like the following:

1. psyllium,
2. methylcellulose, and
3. calcium polycarbophil

also may be used to increase the intake of fiber. Stool softeners and increased drinking of liquids also may be recommended.

Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you.
All the best
With warm regards
